Jasper Canyon Hike

JASPER CANYON HIKE

Another sunny day! We got up and got off in good time this morning after a breakfast of bacon and eggs. Paddled 4.5 miles to Jasper Canyon decided to explore it.

The canyon is the site of some ancient  ruins, but though we looked and looked, the ruins must have been very well camouflaged as we could not pick them out. The photo below is what we were searching for but couldn't put an eye to.

The jasper was a beautiful red orange and large chunks of it  called my name, . . . but I managed to come out of the canyon with only a handful of small pieces. The photo below is from the Internet.

The T-cat is so stable that Jess can comfortably stand up to paddle. She and Kim and Peter finished off the last of their beer today. . .  moaned that they had not brought along enough.
